Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply when you book or receive a service from Beauty, Boldly Done ("we," "us"), 12060 W 135th St, Suite 13, Overland Park, KS 66221, or use beautyboldlydone.com. By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Booking appointments
- We are by appointment only. Book online, or call or text 913-237-0923.
- Please give accurate contact details and tell us about any allergies, sensitivities or recent chemical services when you book.
- For color corrections, extensions and big changes, we may ask for a free consultation or test strand before booking the full service.
Prices
- Prices are listed on our Services page and may change without notice. The price confirmed at booking applies to that appointment.
- Prices marked "+" or "from" are starting prices. The final price depends on hair length, thickness, condition and the time and product used. We will talk with you before going over the starting price.
- Highlights include 2 bowls of lightener. Each extra bowl is a $10 upcharge.
- Extension prices do not include the cost of hair unless stated.
Payment
Payment is due when your service is finished. We accept the payment methods shown at booking or in the studio. A deposit or card on file may be required to book some services.
Cancellation, rescheduling and no-shows
- You may cancel or reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your appointment.
- Rescheduling less than 24 hours before your appointment: 10% fee.
- Cancelling less than 24 hours before your appointment: 50% fee.
- No-shows are charged 75% of the total appointment fee.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, a $10 late fee may be added at the end of your service, and we may need to shorten or reschedule your service so the next client is not delayed.
Health, safety and allergies
Please tell us about allergies, skin or scalp conditions, pregnancy, medications or anything else that could affect your service. We may do a patch or strand test first. We may decline or stop a service if we believe it is unsafe, including if you have an active scalp, skin or nail condition.
Results and service adjustments
Results depend on your hair or nail history, condition and home care, so we cannot guarantee an exact result. If you are not happy with your service, contact us within 7 days and we will look at it and, where appropriate, offer an adjustment. We do not offer refunds on completed services.
Minors
Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian book and consent to the service. A parent or guardian may need to be present for chemical services.
Photos
We may photograph your finished hair or nails for our portfolio and social media. We will ask before posting any photo that shows your face. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.
Using our website
All content on this website, including photos, text and logos, belongs to Beauty, Boldly Done or is used with permission. Do not copy or reuse it without our written permission. Do not misuse the website or the booking system.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Our website and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Beauty, Boldly Done is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. The terms posted when you book apply to that appointment.
